At The Gym

New Horizon is excited to offer our clients memberships at our local gym (Due to COVID, we are not longer attending the gym but are using our own equipment in centre). An exercise program is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. It helps to control and manage weight concerns, medical or health problems, improves mood, helps eliminate stress, boosts energy, promotes better sleep, and provides countless other benefits. Clients will begin to develop an exercise routine, which includes: entering and exiting the facility, using the equipment safely, setting and managing their own time, cleaning the equipment, and transitioning to the next exercise with gradually reduced support. Exercises will include the treadmill, elliptical, rowing machine, yoga ball, floor mat, and bike. Clients will participate in the program several times per week.
